Review : 2/3 This flight was part of a roundtrip to Ryanair's new Destination Madeira Funchal (FNC) from Paris Beauvais (BVA).
The boarding was slightly delayed and I was asked to change my surgical mask to a FFP2 mask to comply with Italian law. Fortunately a kind lady in the queue had a spare mask (I had flown in from Paris the same day where normal surgical masks are accepted on flights). To my astonishment, once onboard the plane, the Ryanair staff were wearing surgical masks.
This flight takes approximately 4 hours and while there is not much to say about the flight itself, the main highlight of this trip was Bergamo Airport (fantastic little airport). I would definitely travel to Madeira again via Bergamo if I have enough time for the stopover. Give yourself at least 3 hours between the flights to make sure you don't lose your next Ryanair flight. (my flight from Paris was over an hour delayed).
As this was the first ever Ryanair flight to Madeira, all passengers were given small gifts upon arrival at Madeira Airport. There was also a Jazz band by the luggage carrousel.
